RMS creating extra batches in POS stations

Does anyone know why RMS would continually create extra batches in a single POS station?  This is happening quite a bit and I am constantly having to use the procedure outlined on Customer Source to eliminate the extra batches.  One time it did it when the manager was trying to print the z report.  The z ended up in a batch all by itself. It has even done this during the day, knocked us out of the current batch and opened a new one.    I'm glad that I had experience with putting it back to the batch that I wanted it to be, but it concerns me that this is happening so much.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi CapitolDrugs,

The first thing I would look at is your system (RMS Administrator) setup for Offline?  If it is then I would suspect you have a network issue that needs to be addressed ASAP.  If this is not the case please provide me with the Operating System - Version of RMS and I will try a re-create your issue.

    Thanks

    Shawn
