Last evaluation time - Running on the hour

Hi all,

I would like to change the evaluation date for my segments as they run on the hour. I need my segments to run immediate so they can recieve my emails in a customer journey immediately after they have filled out the form.

Is there something i could do to fix this in settings?

Tahliac did you ever find a way to manually kick off the Last evaluation time of the segment at all? I'm having a similar issue/scenario to you

    Hi Christian,

This worked, however I still have the one hour delay on both instances.

I submitted the form at 9:08 - got the email at 10:10.

Any other ways to get this done quickly?

    Hello,

    yes that is correct.

Your Journey can be purely inbound and start with a form followed by trigger and the email you desire to send to the subscribers.

In the case that the contact is not yet stored in the marketing application and a new one will be created from the submission, it might take a little longer until the email can be sent - if the email contains dynamic information from the contact that just has been with the submission of the form.

    Hi Christian.

    Thanks for responding.

Not sure if I understand. Once a customer has completed a form (which is hosted externally - not on a marketing page) we then want to put them on a nurture with emails etc.

How do we do that? We don’t have a segment to begin with in the customer journey, we will have the same form in multiple sites and we want those contacts to begin the nurture.

Would it be possible then to do: marketing form > trigger > email?

    Thanks

    Tahlia

    Hello,

with the spring release and if your organization has been moved to the new marketing analytical backend, the time it takes from submission to email sent out from respective trigger will be in the few minutes range. To implement a speedy processing for that use case, you would craft a journey that incudes a trigger for the registration after the marketing form / Marketing page tile and then follow with the email activity tile.
