Our SmartList looks like the following:

When accessing the excel document through explorer it looks like this:

Why does it change the names to "Aging Bucket"? How can I fix this so that it displays exactly as it is in the smartlist?

Thank you!

Open the smartlist - click on Columns and change the Display Name values.

    Best regards,

    Ian.

I wish it was that easy. I should have included these screenshots to start with. Here is the display names are configured:

Here is how they are displaying in the excel file:

I'm sorry if that is hard to see but it says "aging bucket 1", "aging bucket 2" and so forth.

You should open a ticket with Microsoft on this.

One band-aid solution is to create a macro on your excel export file that renames the column header row, and instruct Smartlist to run it once the export is complete. This obviously doesn't fix the root issue, but it fixes your report while waiting for further support.

Very good suggestion! Thank you. Where would I go to open a ticket on this?

You would log into your customer source account and submit a help request with Microsoft there.

I had a similar problem in GP and I was able to fix it with the registry edit from

    http://www.winability.com/how-to-make-elevated-programs-recognize-network-drives/

This is the edit, from the webpage above:

Run Registry Editor (regedit.exe), locate the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/System
and create a new DWORD entry with the name EnableLinkedConnections and value 1

    Restart the computer.
