I'm using RM Triggers to keep a "master" list of customer in a company. I have the triggers setup so if a sub company creates a new (or edits) a customer card, it is replicated into the "master" company. Also, if you create (or make change) in the "master" company, the changes are then spread to all the sub companies. Over various versions and service packs, this function has worked and stopped working numbers times. By stop working, I should clarify, what happens is changes made in the sub company are replicated not only to the "master" but also all the sub companies. I've yet to figure out what causes this or how to stop it. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

To clarify, I'm using the RM triggers in Professional Tools. I'm not directly creating SQL Server Triggers.
Hi George,
The information supplied is insufficient for any of us to help. I would say though that using Triggers may not be the best way to achieve what you want. Especially if you are inserting records into a database.
Have you looked at eConnect - incoming and outgoing services? Using eConnect would be a much better and more solid way of achieving this. i.e. It would be obeying the GP business Logic - and you would have clear visibility on the movement of records / if a record is rejected for some reason etc.
Ian.
