How to set a reminder for the expired approval request?

Hi all,

I want the system to send an email if an approval request is expired.

I've configured the following settings, but people still aren't receiving email notifications:

  • Approvers receive emails about the approval workflow, so the email settings seem correct.
  • I added the 'overdue approval requests workflow' and enabled it.
  • In the purchase invoice approval workflow, I've set up the formula for the expiration date.
  • I've also configured the task 'send overdue approval notifications.'

Despite these configurations, no one is receiving reminders. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

    Hi, Thank you for the reply.
     
    We don't use power automate flows, because of that the second link you refer to we can't use. Is there also a solution in BC20?
