Greetings,
 
Please when i create a new company on business central, do i have to get a new paid license for the new company separate from the license i use on the old company?

    As mentioned, there is no need to get a new paid license for the new company separate from the currently used license. Since the maximum number of companies that can be contained in one environment can reached 300.     The only time you would need a new license is either if you exceed 300 companies in one environment or if you need to create a company using other localizations than what you have in your other companies. 
    F.ex. if you want to create a company that will be operating in a different country or region.

    You do not need a special license to create a company. 
     
    You can create 300 companies with existing licenses.

    As per your question, you can create new company as per your requirement. You can create 300 company in single environment as per limit by microsoft environment.
