NAV Dynamics showing wrong User ID

Hello Everyone!
Greeting 

I have found a weird problem in NAV Dynamics Ledger Entry's User ID Section. 
Used ID Section is showing wrong user name. 


Suppose one entry is posted by User "A" but in General Ledger, it is showing that User is "B".
Password is not compromised between them.
And the User "A" admitted that he posted these entry (Negative Adjustment in Item Journal ) but NAV Dynamic showing posted User is "B"

Do you have any idea, how could this problem happened ?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Forum.

    I would confirm the Inventory Setup setting for Automatic Cost Posting and Expected Cost Posting options. If these Boolean fields are not enabled/selected, then User A will post the Negative Adjustment to update the Item Ledger Entries for change in quantity through the Item Journal posting. However, the General Journal Entries and update to the Value Entries is not recorded until the Post Inventory Cost to G/L Process is run. If this is run nightly through a Job Queue or if another user runs the Post Inventory Cost to G/L process to sync the Value Entries and G/L Entries Tables, then the Job Queue User or other user will show as the User ID on the G/L Entries.

    This would be one possible explanation for the result that I could foresee.

    Hi Tom

    Thanks for your answer. I really appreciate it. Kindly note that we have found this wrong user ID only for two specific entries on specific dates. Other entries' posted User ID seems ok. we have been using NAV Dynamics since 2017. We never faced this kinda wrong user ID in General Ledger entries other than these two.
