Hi AXDEV_1,
Can you share a screenshot with the error? Is it the error coming during development or in run-time? What is the action menu-item about?
action menu item has the properties
1. Object type Class
2. Object RassetReport
3. EnumTypeParameter RAssetReportType
4. EnumParameter Parameter
my menu action open a dialog that has value model ,document number and document date and 2 buttons Ok and Cancel...this dialog is written in dialog method in my Class RassetReportMyClass that i created...my class has templateNAme method that returns the resourcesStr(Myresource) and has wordDocumentFill method
after i press ok button from dialog it gives me these errors
If you get an error, a good idea is to debug it. Start with double-clicking the error message; it will likely show you the line of code throwing the error. It will be a huge step towards solving the problem. Also don't forget that AX is shipped with a debugger, so you can easily put a breakpoint to code and then step through the code line by line.
By the way, I've changed the title your thread, because "get errors" didn't really described your question. Please use a more descriptive title next time. I've also changed the category of your question from "Other" to "Development / Customization / SDK".
can anyone tell me all the steps for creating dot template in ax using classes with method worddocumentmake, worddocumentfilll, Resources object etc.. maybe i missed something?
AXDEV_1, your last reply doesn't seem to be related to the previous discussion of this thread. To keep the forum organized to logical blocks, please create a new thread for your new topic and don't forget to give it an appropriate title and tags.
yes i know but its somehow connected, not directly...but is connected...i mean that maybe i missed something to do that caused this problem that appeared those errors..
You will have to provide much more information about your question before anybody can answer it.
If your new topic is indirectly connected to this thread, you can link two threads with hyperlinks.
