Acknowledge a system message during transaction import

Hello,

Alright, so we have decided to use Item GL Classes in Order Management for a new reporting requirement. I created the new "codes" for these and associated the appropriate GL accounts for Sales and COGS along with the appropriate sub account.

Attempted to use Transaction Import to update the existing inventory items. When I check the log, no errors, but when I open the inventory record, the update was not complete. So I did it manually, and when I changed the GL Class ID on the OM tab on the inventory item, I was greeted with System Message 16061: Use Item GL Class accounts and sub accounts as Inventory Item default accounts and sub accounts? With the option to click yes or no....

So I searched the interweb and here, and could not find a way to "click yes" using the Control File...there are instructions for pressing all kinds of buttons, but none that I could find for Saying yes (or no) to a system message that pops up when you fill in a field...

Any ideas?

Chris

So I did open an incident on this. They are waiting for someone with some more "coding experience" to come back into the office.

In the interim, I kept digging, I tried a utility named clickoff to automatically click yes in the system message when it appeared, it works if I am manually updating the screen, but hit and miss in TI. I think the scan time from the utility looking for the system message is the issue.

So then I moved on and found some tools called AutoIT, and discovered the system message buttons have no name, which is why I cannot change the Control Macro to automatically say yes to the system message, but while looking around at the AutoIT stuff I found this bit of code:

    Local $cButtons = _IETagNameGetCollection ($oIE, "button")

    For $oButton in $cButtons

If $oButton.innerText = "log in" Then

       _IEAction ($oButton, "click")

       _IELoadWait ($oIE)

       ExitLoop

     EndIf

    Next

Tried a few different ways of adding this code, which is for pressing buttons with no name (changed the innertext value to "Yes"), to the control macro, but no luck. I updated my incident with MS, but figured I could aske here too :) anyone have any idea on how to add this code to the control macro?

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris

MS opened it up as a bug...so no solution at this time.
