Hi,

I need to put the NZBN (equivalent of ABN) in NAV. The field length is 11 as the ABN is an 11-digit unique code. How to do it if the NZBN is 13-digit? I do not understand why the standard NAV field length of ABN on the NZ database is also 11 (?) so what field is used to put the ABN of the company??

The business number for NZ is 13-digit and standard NAV only has 11-digit - where do I put the ABN for the NZ company then (?)

you need a new field with length 13.

for the nav company: table company information, page company information

for a customer: table customer, page customer card

for a vendor: table vendor, page vendor card

you can do it byyour self if you have a developer license. otherwise contact your nav partner.

You need to add a new field for that. If you have the developer license you can do it by yourself or else you need to contact your Dynamics NAV partner.

Hi,

When you open Designer from Company Information (NZ Database), you can just add the IRD field. The Internal Revenue Department No. is used for NZ companies.
