Ax 3.0 client on windows 2012 server?

Hi!

We are moving to a new ASP partner, an the new partner prefer to set up WTS (citrix) on Windows 2012 servers. Has anybody tried running the Ax 3.0 Sp3 klient on a Windows 2012 server (Citrix)?

And yes, we are in the process of upgrading to Ax 2012, but for a few months we need to rund old Ax 3.0 in new ASP enviroment.

Hi Svein,

About a year ago I wanted to review some things in AX3.0 Then I did install it on a Win Server 2012. It worked, but it was just a temporary setup and did not use it for production purposes. There was no Citrix involved then.

Maybe some other community members do have some experience, otherwise I would recommend to test it carefully. Still the best would be to have it running on compatible windows versions that were supported in the past.

I have seen AX 3.0 client working in citrix for one of my previous company client, that time they tested on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 but not for Windows Server 2012 R2. you need to test this as well, as Andre suggested.

Yes, we are running Ax3.0 on Citrix (Ver 14.5.0.10018), based on Win2012 R2. It seems to be okey. Axapta 3.0 DB on SQL 2005 @ W2003 server. Axapta 3.0 Application files also on a W2003 server.

We are currently moving over to Ax2012.

Not completly certified, but seems to be working good for us.
