I want to call a function in many forms at once how it can be done.

You will need to add the JavaScript to each form individually. This article explains how to do this.
Regarding your question about wanting multiple forms to execute the same function, this is supported.
We can use Ribbon Workbench's edit button feature to add a hidden button to the CRM ribbon and put the functions we need to execute into a custom rule. This button will be used by all forms that use the ribbon.
