Hi everyone,

We have not used the scheduled payment section over the past few years and there are items in the scheduled payment that need to be deleted. The Delete and Void buttons are greyed out in Payables Scheduled Payments entry window. Could you pleae tell me how to eliminate them? Thank you in advance.

I don't see a Void button in my system but you can't delete a schedule if it's been posted.  What GP version are you on?

    Hi Frank,

It is GP 2010 SP3. Sorry for the confusion but the greyed out buttons are Post and Delete.

You cannot delete scheduled payments.  Post them into open payables and then enter voiding transactions for them in open payables.

    Hi Richard,

The Post button is grayed out. You can see it in the picture attached above.

Are the fiscal periods for the payments scheduled open?

They are closed as of 2006. If we reopen it, will we be able to post the payments?

    NHI,

If we post the scheduled payment transaction in Payable Schedule Payment Entry window, then only post button will get grayed out and will create payable scheduled payment transactions. So, you need to post that created Payables Scheduled Payments in Post Payables Scheduled Payments window(Tools-->Routines-->Purchasing-->Post Payables Scheduled Payments).

After posted the same, the scheduled payment will go to history and open payables transaction will create for that payaments.

Print report to note that created transactions number.

Finaly Void that historical and Open scheduled payment transactions.

    Hope this help!
