    Hi,

You must add your CRM url to trusted sites in Internet Explorer. In custom level you must select "Automaticly logon with current user name and password" option.

    Hi,

         Thanks for your reply.

At first, I added the setting with the IP address of our CRM server but failed, then I added with computer name of the server, it works. Now, the problem seems to be solved. Thanks!

    Hi Vaibhav,

Please check the ie running your site in trusted sites. When you open the crm, ie can show at bottom bar the crm in trusted sites or local internet or etc.

if crm in local internet you can remove it in local internet sites list. so you can readd crm to trusted sites.

    Thanks for the reply Baris,

There was not entry in local Intranet site.

What i did is i have added two sites in trusted sites list. 1) "<my company>.crm.domain.com" 2) "crm.domain.com" and i am good with prompt issue now.

    Thanks.

Looks like you are using Hosted Microsoft CRM and not Microsoft CRM Online.  Hosted CRM doesn't use Windows Live ID to login but instead uses the User Name/Password provided.

FYI - If you have both ".crm.domain.com" and "crm.domain.com", you could enter just "*.domain.com" and you would befine.

Also, if you are in a OnPremise deployment, check that you are in the same domain as your CRM Server (on a domain trusted by the CRM server's domain) and validate that your computer's clock is the same as the server's clock.

On Premise deployments usually relies on Kerberos Authentication, which is a time-sensitive authentication mecanism.

I have what I think may be a slightly different issues.  I have MS Dynamics 4.0 and I access via a browser or MS Outlook.  I have never had a user name and password assigned to me(almost like a SaaS solution) where I think we were provisioned in through the active directory.  Windows 7 is my operating system.  Whenever I change my windows password, I have issues with my Outlook verions and get a message saying that my credentials cannot find me.  It tries to verify my credentials but can't.  Apparently the new password is not syncing and therefore when I try and send emails out of Outlook or get incoming emails that I need to do "Regarding" on so it will track in CRM, will not track anymore.  This also began to hose up my Outlook so I had to delete my add-ons for CRM in order to stop my Outlook from jamming up.  Now I do not have any of my CRM tool bars/add-ons and also need to get those back.  So my two issues are getting my Windows 7 password to sync up with my CRM credentials.  With XP you go into your control panel/user account/advanced/manage passwords.  You then select the appropiate item and update your password.  i have gotten to that same place but the setup is different in Windows 7 and I am not sure how to do it.  Any suggestions?
