Signature Capture Devices besides the Ingenico?

Are there any other signature capture devices that work with RMS besides the Ingenico 6550? I have a customer who is VERY dissatisfied with the look and performance of that unit and wants to change badly.

Contact System Solutions. They have an application that will work with any pad that RMS recognizes. I have a topaz working on my machine. Works great. this is just a signature pad, but I believe there are others that will read the credit card as well.

Topaz will work. For multi-function, Verifone MX860 is almost through RMS test / devel. Depending on Ingenico issues:

RMS Signature on receipt: http://www.syssolutionsllc.com/page/Addons/SignatureCapture

RMS Ingenico controlling screen functions: http://www.syssolutionsllc.com/page/Addons/IngenicoControls

And if lock up issues, use Serial cable set, not USB.

Do you have a time-frame on the Verifone?

The main issue with the Ingenico is the brightness level of the screen, and the look of the interface

Bruce's client wants to replace i6550 with Verifone MX860, and he wanted to know if System Solutions carries the device (YES) and if System Solutions can provide MX860 configuration for RMS? No because presently the device is not certified with RMS, integration is still in the hands of Microsoft / Verifone. Existing solutions identified above in this thread.

Actually, we tested ISC 250 and it worked for RMS, we might go for that or might back to i6550.

Is the ISC 250 compliant and approved for Mercury? It looks like it could suit our customer's desires for a better unit
