Current Application Version: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (10.0.36)
Current Platform Version: Update60 (7.0.7036.156)
 
General Description:
Upgrading D365FO Cloud-hosted Environment from version 10.0.36 to 10.0.39
Stuck in Step 25 - GlobalUpdate script for service model: AOSService on machine
 
Some information in Error Log
Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Xpp.TimeoutException: Exceeded the execution time limit for the script: InventSysSetup
 
 
 
 
Founded some fix as below:
 
In Development Machine, run the SQL Script in D365FO Database.
 
INSERT INTO DBO.SYSFLIGHTING (FLIGHTNAME, ENABLED, FLIGHTSERVICEID) VALUES ('DbSyncSysSetupTimeoutKillSwitch', 1, 12719367)
 
Then try to resume Service Updates

How long was a script running before you got this message Is this happening in a developer instance, sandbox, or production environment? Is your environment a cloud-hosted instance or on-premises with local business data?
