Can I fetch POS Images from local computer storage to D365 MPOS

Hi,

I want to fetch the POS images from my local computer to D365 MPOS instead of storing at Retail Media Server.

Can I do it so?? If yes, can anyone suggest me the detail steps for it how do I perform??

    Hi,
    Microsoft recommends using the Azure Blob Storage or a machine deployed on Azure to be used as a Media Server. The reason being, communication between Media Server (hosted either on Azure Blob or a machine deployed on Azure cloud) and D365 F&O ( which is also hosted on Azure) is seamless. It has been tested and is working for a lot of customers.
    A local machine just cannot share any kind data with D365 F&O until it is hosted on an IIS (published over a unique port number on IIS). This will require SSL level encryption and then you will have to make the URL public. Finally, attach the published URL with port as the Retail Media Server Base URL in channel profile for all store. This has not been tested yet, so we cannot recommend this approach.

    I think you can do this.

    Step1. Create CRT to get all file in sever

    Step2. Create retail server, Proxy

    Step3. In POS write a API to get list file  from CRT throw Proxy

    Just thinking, hope you can do it.
