Physical inventory without location specified

Dear all,

I have an issue with items that we returned.

While receiving these items in the scanner, the dimension location wasn't specified, resulting in physical inventory that cannot be moved/removed due the fact that a location number isn't specified.

The return orders are fully processed and invoiced, so there is no way to reopen them to modify.

Can someone assist?

    To address this issue, you may need to adjust inventory transactions to assign the missing location. Here are steps to resolve the problem:

    1. Create an Inventory Transfer Journal.
    2. In the new journal, enter the items that are missing the location dimension. You'll need to specify the item, quantity, and other relevant details.
    3. In the "Dimensions" column or field of the journal, specify the missing location dimension for each item. Ensure that the dimension matches the location where these items should be placed.
    4. Post the Inventory Transfer Journal: After you've added the missing location dimensions to the items in the journal, save the journal.
    5. Then, submit or post the journal to update the inventory transactions with the specified location dimensions.
    6. Validate Inventory Transactions: Review the updated inventory transactions to confirm that the location dimensions have been assigned correctly to the items.

    Dear Fasih,

    Unfortunately the Inventory Tranfer Journal doesn't accept any open field.
    The transfer goes from one location to another, but when the field is empty the system will give an error.
    See the error message below.
