Dynamics 365 Business Central is slow and keeps giving popup messages

Hi all

As of lately we continuously keep having these popup messages:

  • "We're working on it..."
  • "A moment patience while your connection is being restored. This shouldn't take long."

We're not deploying anything, nor doing any setups or setting changes.
Our BC environment does runs remarkably slow during these moments too (we're on a SAAS environment and version 21.3.51409.51575)
Does anyone have an idea why this keeps occurring? Or is anyone else experiencing the same issue and has been able to fix this?

Hi, Please use the In-client performance profiler function to detect whether it is a standard problem or a problem caused by customization.

It can also be worth checking any customizations if you have any of those in your environment.

According to Microsoft most occurrence of slow performance is caused by customizations.

RE: Dynamics 365 Business Central is slow and keeps giving popup messages

I have seen it sometimes but not recently. I had seen such messages primarily on sandboxes that too when the environment upgrade was nearby. There can be various reasons why this may happen, not sure if any can be pinned down.

It is advisable to contact your Microsoft Partner/CSP and ask them to troubleshoot by viewing Telemetry Logs. Your partner/CSP can also raise this as a support ticket to Microsoft & they'll help you get an answer

Your ticket with Microsoft will have highest priority if this has been happening on Production environments. If possible, support your query which you send to your partner/CSP with screenshots and a summary of what actions you were doing in BC when this happened
