Why does microsoft CRM remove FQDN message-ID from email message once tracked in CRM? How can this be resolved? There is no information on this anywhere but it seems to be extremely common problem. Can someone help please.

Issue:

We have been experiencing an issue with one of our customers where CRM is removing the domain from the message ID which is causing rejection. They are quite strict on RFC standards requiring that message headers include a unique message ID but once a message in Outlook is tracked in CRM the FQDN is removed.

    Hi,

There has been no responses to this yet. Can even one of the CRM Team confirm that this is not possible and it is something that might be in the pipeline to get fixed in your next edition. I would appreciate anyones rsponse.

    Thanks,

    Aoife.

Can you post some screenshots of what you are seeing?

Thanks for the response. The issue is that mail is being rejected and after an investigation it was discovered that tracking emails in CRM was the issue, a stated above. I dont understand what screenshots you require, can you be more specific?

    Thanks,

    Aoife.

The CRM Team seems to be very quiet about this issue? Anybody there to help? I'm experiencing quite a few emails being rejected due to this specific issue.

    thanks,

    Ben
