Adding a Journal name for Batch merge

Happy New year everyone!

I am trying to add a journal number for batch merges. when I go into Inventory management > setup > inventory and warehouse management parameters > Journals . I see no journal name is set for batch merge so I need to add a new journal name.

I added a new journal name under inventory management > setup > Journals > Journal names . I name the journal BatMer and set it to a type of Movement. Close the form and go back to Inventory and Warehouse management parameters and look to choose the new journal name but it is not displayed. Is there another place where I am supposed to setup the Journal Name? What else could I be missing?

The journal type should be set to BOM.
