We are planning to upgrade GP from GP2013 to GP2015. We are using business portal to request vacation for outsource employees, they will login from outside the office and request. Business portal was removed from GP2015. So please let me know what is the alternate option. I found in some GP support, that Microsoft added these functionalities in core module. But I would like to know how we can access these functionality for employees access from outside. If this is through web client, do we need separate user access license for this, another issue we need to install outsource employee computer this GP web client. that is not practical solution. what is Self Service Home Page, can we use this for employee vacation request, do we need separate user access license for this.
Kindly provide solution for this with details of license requirement. We have only 40 full access users. 0 limited users, 0 self user license.
Please provide the best solution for this issue.
