setting up new company in 365 financials error

I am the global admin  yet when I try to change the name to set up a new company   I get this error

You do not have the following permission: Rename an existing company

  I am trying to change it from   My Company  to the  actual company we want to trade as  to start setting  up the business  .

    Hello,

    Are you doing this on the 'Companies' window, after clicking the 'Edit List' button?  I just tried this and it worked.

    Go to the 'users' window and look at your user and the permission sets assigned to you.  Do you have 'SUPER' with a blank company column?  The original user to sign up for Financials should have this and would be the default admin.  They would be able to give you this permission if you don't already have it.

    Hi.  I am having the same issue.  I am the global admin.  Under Users, I am super user for My Company, but there is not another Super User without a company by it.  I tried creating another permission, but I cannot do that either.  Not sure what to do.
