Show a dialog with a text box on scan of a product to enter a serial number.

Hi All,

Trust all are doing well.

We have a requirement where we need to show a dialog to enter the serial number of the product and it should be add on the extensionproperties of the line item with key value pair.

We can not use the standard one as we are using for some other scenarios. Basically, i have written the code in the preproductsalestrigger method to show the dialog and to enter the serial number but not able find out the value at the postproductsalestrigger.

Please help, how can we achieve this.

    We are using POS Version - 10.0.464.10002 and D365 Version 10.0.11.

    I checked the trigger preproductsalestrigger/postproductsalestrigger, both of them have the interface

    execute(options: Triggers.IPreProductSaleTriggerOptions)

    I think you can put the serial number to the options after you input serial number, and then you should able to get it from post trigger options variable.

    You might be able to achieve this using an Info code.

    Hi Guanghui,

    I had tried already as you suggested, I am facing a problem in this case, not able to get that value in the postproductsaletrigger.

    Can you please suggest how can I get that value in the postproductsaletrigger?

    I tried to save in the extension properties but it did not work.
