On the formula line there is a field "Base value", this a text field. I want to use this field to enter a text, so I can use this field value in a query for including and or excluding production formula lines when generating a production wave. So in fact I will "miss-use" this field for this purpose, therefore I want to be sure the field is not used in another process. We use formulas with ingredient type None. Does anyone know the purpose and/or function of the field "Base value" on a formula line.

The system will recalculate and adjust batches as needed to produce desired potency values. The compensating factor always refers back to the base value, in order to correctly calculate batch quantities.The batch balancing function in Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides the ability to balance the ingredients based on the compensating principle setup in the Formula.
