Sending automated emails every time someone submits or updates their subscription centre

Posted on by 48

I've been looking into how to use outbound marketing to send an email every time a contact updates their subscription centre preferences.

This seems more difficult than it should be as outbound marketing won't let a contact flow through a journey more than once or it puts those contacts through repeatedly every day on a schedule.  Ideally this email / journey needs to be triggered in near real time and allow contacts to flow through as many times as they decide they want to update their preferences.

Only potential solution so far is using event triggers in real time marketing but surely there must be a simpler solution natively within outbound marketing?

Any help or ideas are very much appreciated.

    Hi,

You can set a double opt-in to achieve that.

Here is a tutorial which you can refer to.

Manage subscription centers and double opt-in in Dynamics 365 Marketing - Learn | Microsoft Docs
