SP4 or above is required for Windows 7.
Also Windows 7 has to be Professional or above.
Although I have manager to get RMS to run of Windows 7 business with only SP# before.
Also they have re-released the SP4 update, so if you have downloaded already please redownload it.

Ed, my post got cut off above. Yes, we are using Windows 7 Home (not sure if it's premium), but it is 32 bit. I know there is a Premium Edition of Win 7, but wasn't sure if we needed it. Where is the information that states RMS doesn't work with Win 7 Home? I haven't been able to locate any knowledge base articles or other info that states this. I see you have said to check the printer driver for the Cognitive Advantage printer, but no driver other than a generic text has ever worked in RMS for barcode printing.
Make sure the printer has the correct driver installed. www.cognitive.com/resources_Driver.aspx
by the way, RMS or POS doesn't support the Windows Home product line, only the professional or higher version.
