checking if item sales tax group is missing

Hello everyone,

I have a question: is there any function in AX 2012, which can check, if the costs are posted without tax on some account and gives an error or info-message in this case?

e.g. if we make posting on some Project or travel expense category and forget to check the tax, I would get a message about that(before I post).

I have found a field "validate sales tax" in GL-->Main account setup and tested it with the option "to be filled in". But I still can post on this account without choosing an item salex tax group.

If you want that 'Validate sales tax' to take affect, you'll have to tick the check box 'Validate tax code' in form 'General ledger parameters->Sales tax', see below
