How can we using Dynamics 365 for marketing create a mailshot for a subscription list when a blog is published?
Other tools like click dimensions and mail chip have this functionality
Is the blog a landing page or via an MS portal?
I'm thinking if you have some kind of trigger or field in CRM then a Customer Journey could monitor that field and when changed/updated, send the email.
You might also do this via a CRM Workflow - when the blog is posted, it triggers a CRM workflow that kicks off a Customer Journey.
The source may be external (eg. wordpress blog). We need to dynamically generate email based on the feed content and then send automatically to the subscription list.
As far as I know, this cannot be done OOTB and would need to be a custom solution.
Hi Raife,
I havn't wordpress, but if your wordpress is hosted on wordpress.com,
you could connect your blog to dynamics 365 with an OOB connector:
https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/shared_wordpress/wordpress/
then filter contacts by list listmember records then send email with link to them,
however, it could only send activity email instead of marketing email.
If your blog is self-hosted, then you could only develop your own function with D365 PHP toolkit in full web api style.
