Can i upgrade from AX 2012 to AX 2012 R3 CU9 directly

Hello guys,

currently i am lookling in to upgrade from AX 2012  to AX 2012 R3.

i have question that can i upgrade with AX 2012 R3 CU9 directly or i have to upgrade first to AX 2012 R3 and then CU9?

    CU9 is for R3.

    FOR AX2012 RTM or feature pack, Max you have CU7.

    you have to do it in two paths

    1) update your AX to R3

    2) update to CU9

    Kindly have a look here

    I think you can use splitstream to include C9 updated applicable at same time, as you will upgrade AX2012 to R3, by keeping files in upgrade folder, so you can skip two steps and just can go in one step for upgrade
