Cannot set regard emails to Cases Entity using Dynamic365 Addin

Hi guys,

I have issues set regarding emails to a case using dynamics365 app. 

Firstly, when I track email and search for a case, it doesn't find the case. I can search all other entities but not case. although I can see few cases in Recently used records but not all. 

Secondly, I can also not see Case Entity when I click on NEW so I cannot create cases either from Dynamics 365 App.

The steps I have done so far 

  • Case entity is searchable for quick create
    Option to select entities for categorized search
  • Select Entities dialog box
  • Case entity is enabled for set regarding
  • Case entity is enabled for quick create and is also enabled for mobile

Can someone help please?

    Thanks Ravi. issue is resolved.

    I left it for a day and checked again next day and it worked.

    Hi Zeera,

    Did you restart outlook & clear cache. I come across this issue a while ago and unchecking the settings under "Outlook & Mobile" worked.

    Thanks Ravi, I am able to search the exisiting cases now which is good. 

    However, I am still not able to create new case, the entity is not visible. Would you know why?

    Hi Zeera,

    Under the entity definitions >> Outlook & Mobile, uncheck '“Read-only in mobile”, Publish Customizations, Restart Outlook and then try again

    You may need to clear your browser cache as well if it doesn't work.
