Newbie to AX in need of help.
Can anybody give me a thorough guide on how to setup the parameters necessary for registering WIP items? I know that there are something called Picking list and picking list offset accounts under Inventory management>Setup>Posting>Posting>Production Tab.
I also know that under Production>Setup>Parameters>General tab>Posting field groups, there are parameters called Post picking list in ledger and post report as finished in ledger. However, I do not know how to properly set this whole thing up so that I can track WIP items.
Additionally, I want to know if there is a way to avoid posting the whole proposed quantity of a raw material necessary for production if only a partial quantity is available for posting.
I hope my situation makes sense. :)
