Notice for vendors with different bank accounts

When running accounts payable checks, Great Plains allows vendors with different bank accounts to be pulled into the run.

Can we get a "warning" or notice if the vendor is set up with a different bank account than the one that we are working on?

    Hello,

Thank you for using Microsoft Online Communities.  I understand that you are wondering if there is a way to warn when a vendor is setup with a different bank account.

I would like to verify what you mean by different bank account?

The only place that I could think that you would have a bank account on the vendor is when you are using EFT.  But if you are talking about EFT each vendor should have their own bank accounts any way.

If you are referring to the Checkbook and the posting account that is associated with the checkbook ID,  there is not a notification for this.  I would like to verify if you are talking about the GL posting account do you have the vendor set to use a certain posting account for case or the checkbook.

Again if we are using the cash account from the vendor and they are associated  to certain vendors the only work around I could think of would be to set up classes if you are not using them already and use the account to breakdown the classes.  This way when you process select checks you can restrict on the class Id and it would pull only those vendors you want.

The other option would be to create a product suggestion.

    6. Once you are signed in, you have the option to Search Existing or Create New product suggestions.

Note: Our Product Managers regularly look through these suggestions to determine what should be included in future releases. When submitting new suggestions, we recommend you first search to see if another community member has already entered a similar suggestion.

The more "Yes" votes a suggestion have, the more likely it will be included during the planning cycle of an upcoming product enhancement or release. To vote for a suggestion, add a "Validation" and mark the "Yes, I am able to validate that this issue occurs." option. You may also add a comment if you wish. Once you Submit, your vote appears below the Validation box.

If you have any other questions please let me know.

    Best regards,
