Hi,

I would need to allow one of my team members permission to create and open new vendors.

How do I do this?

He currently has "D365 BUS FULL ACCESS".

best regards

David

Is there a box I can just tick under this users permissions that allows them to create new Vendors?

Given the license constraint here and that you be forced to trade in for a more costly license perhaps an alternative is worth considering.

The above blog talks about using a request form and having that add data to business central. If you were to use this as inspiration you could have the request data saved in Sharepoint. Run an approval process. If it passes then an account with full rights adds the detail.

    Hi David,

The Dynamics 365 Business Central Team Members subscription is designed for users who are not tied to a particular function, but who require basic Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality.

This license includes read access as well as some write access for select light tasks across Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality for a given tenant.

With Team Members subscription the Users can (only) preform the following actions:

    - Read anything within Dynamics 365 Business Central.

    - Update existing data and entries in Dynamics 365 Business Central – existing data are records like customer, vendor or item records which are already created. Entries means entries on which it is specifically allowed from an accounting perspective to update specific information. (e.g. due date on customer ledger entries).

    - Approve or reject tasks in all workflows assigned to a user.

    - Create, edit, delete personal information.
