AX2012 R3 on Azure - Can't find option for this environment to deploy

When going into LCS to deploy a new environment I don't see AX 2012 R3 as an option and instead only see D365 or Dynamics AX as options.

Has anyone figured out how to navigate this and successfully deploy an AX 2012 instance in LCS at this point?

    You're clearly in an LCS account and project for AX 7, not for AX 2012. You can't deploy AX 2012 environments from AX 7 projects; you must go to your account for AX 2012.

    You need to have a Microsoft LiveID account with an active partner / customer contract with Microsoft, that is linked to the CustomerSource or PartnerSource Voice. After that you should be able to create a project for AX 2012 deployments.

    As Martin has mentioned using an account which was provisioned for Dynamics 365 for Operations technical preview or implementation project is not going to work.

    Vilmos and Martin,

    Thank you for clearing this up for me. I was in fact in and LCS account setup for AX7/D365 versus using my LiveID account which showed me the option to deploy a AX 2012 instance as desired.
