i have been asked in interview that why we should use actions in crm.
what shoild be the proper answer for it.

The strong point of the actions is the use of inputs and outputs.Indeed, these are functions to be executed on demand. They can also call via a web service.
1) Action can be called from JavaScript (Client Side). Thi is the most used scenario.
2) You can trigger plugins on custom acgtion

If you want to group a particular functionality into a single action/call, you can do this by action. For example, creating some records, updating it and then sending email. You can create an action which does these task and then you can call this from multiple places.
