GP 10.0 Price Updates...Please Help!

PLEASE HELP...... I am in the middle of a rapid implementation and we have just discovered that the 1300+ (3 tiers per item) inventory items are all wrong (data import off by one line.) I was trying to use the price list wizard to update the prices - but when I apply the difference as a percent the updated price does not equal the price I am trying to obtain. If the desired price is $2.00, and the price in GP is $1.50, I divided the desired price by the actual price and converted that number into a percent, applied the percent to the price wizard update to the appropriate price level and do NOT get the desired out come. Is there an easier way to do this? This seems like it should be an easy task - but so far I have not found that to be the case. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
