Hello team,
I am updating some fields from entity A to entity B. ( I created a workflow when entity A is selected from Entity B through lookup , I am updating some field from entity A to Entity B) when entity B record is created, records status changes
Now I want to make sone fields read only in entity B using business rule once the values are updated from entity A
I am not sure which gets triggered first.
Any help or guidance is highly appreciated.

Hi James, In CRM earlier versions, we have Business Rule Scope as Form level only. But later we can Create Business rule as server side. (Scope as Entity) this can be equal to sync.Workflow.
There is slight difference between server side Business rule and Sync.Workflow.
If Business rule scope is All Forms, then Business rules will trigger first.
Business rule on Entity B will trigger first.

If you are on Entity B and that is where there the Business Rules are then they will happen as you are updating the fields so this will trigger first
