Management Reporter 2012 - Drill Down Function

Is anyone else experiencing problems with drill down and setting the report detail level at most detailed (Financial, Account, & Transaction)?  Nothing I have tried gets to the transaction level...  Is this not supported in Ax2012 integration?  When a tree is involved, I've only been able to drill down into the total line (which is not helpful.)  In a single report (no tree), I can drill into the accounts, but I don't see dimension detail that rolled up to the account and no transaction level detail either.  I read in the help that the column needs to be of type "PERIODIC", but that does not seem to help.

Thanks,

Joe

    Hello Joe,

I gave this a shot on my end and it did work for me.

It appears you have everything in place but we need to make sure the detail level is to transaction and you have the periodic column like you mentioned.  The two things you may be missing is that AX needs to be open and you need to actually put the cursor on the amount in the report you want to drill into.  Try that and let me know if it works.

Looking at the tree definitions revealed a NP (no print) specification for some reason.  Removing NP fixed the issue.  (You can't drill down into NP items)

Hello Joe, Is there still something open here? Otherwise it might be great if you could verify your solution to let also others know how to get things resolved. Many thanks and best regards, Ludwig
