Best way to manage invoice matching tolerances with amount rather than percentage

Good afternoon,

Seeking out some advice on a change to invoice matching tolerances which my customers would like to make.

As I understand it, the invoice totals matching per standard AX 2012 allows the tolerance to be set as a percentage only at the total level of the invoice.

I'm aware that at a line level, we're able to instead set a value rather than a percentage, as specified in this answer:

https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33/t/144166

However this does not meet the customer requirement, which is to set a tolerance at a total level (e.g. $10.00 matching discrepancy for the invoice as a whole)

Has anyone encountered this requirement and have any innovative ways of working around this that you could share?

Regards,
Steph

    Hi Steph,

If there is no way that your customer accepts what the standard deliveres you will have to make a system modification. Should not be too difficult as there is already a %-check available. Please talk to a developer to get this designed in the way you need.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

As standard no way to implement it.

But you can customize your requirements based on business demand.

Many thanks both, I had thought this to be the case but wanted to confirm
