Posted on by Microsoft Employee

So I have been trying to figure this out for quite sometime,

but when I scan an item or items with the handheld it will not

print labels.

In my experience, New West has top-notch technical support. I would call them directly at (800) 466-7839, or emailing support@newestech.com

lol i was going to suggest new west tech mobile manager it works very well for most mobile applications. Such as inventory counts, label printing, receiving PO's and lots more.

RMS does not run on windows ce or mobile versions.  So what program are you using to scan items?   I have seen a few 3rd party apps that can perform inventory on a handheld, along with one I made.   I know Newestech had one that could also print labels but required some setup and a specific printer.

    I'm pretty sure it's windows ce 6.0.

I've put the lable file in "my documents/misc" on the hand held, and pointed it towards the computer with the label printer attached to it, but still no go

You need to create a customer label or you could use the default templates that come with RMS. Also you will need to transfer the label file onto the handeld and point it to the label file from their it will print. What software are you running on the handheld to interface with RMS.
