BC on premise/Outlook and Azure Key Vault

Hi,

I'm trying to setup Outlook integration with BC on-premise Wave 2 and I have an issue when trying to send a quote through Outlook. I get an error regarding Azure Key vault. Is there a way to bypass this setting, so I don't have to use a keyvault? If I can't, is there documentation on how to set this up with BC.

I followed some documentation regarding keyvault, but with no success.

I've attached the error message that I get.

    Hello,

There is no need to use KeyVault for this. You can use the MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Administration Console to remove the settings.

    Thanks.

    Thank you for the reply.

There is no configuration done in the setting you metioned. Is there a way to change the setting within BC?

    Hello,

Are you authenticating via Azure AD (SSO)?

    Thanks.

No, I'm authenticating through Azure AD. It's NavUserPass

    Hello,

How did you configure this setting:

Could be that this setting is set to Azure KeyVault?

Not sure either where this error does come from.

    Thanks.

No, the setting is set to LocalKeyFile. I've given up on this.

    Hi,

I can completely understand that! This must be frustrating. The only thing I can imagine that the client is connecting via WebClient (you can verify via navsettings.json file) to a different server and / or NST instance where this settings are / setting is still in place.

Otherwise I would need to see it or someone of our team should have a look at it together with you. If you are a partner you can raise a support ticket with MS CSS or you can ask your CSP to raise a support ticket on your behalf.

Thank you for answering these questions from my side. Unfortunately, we have not been able to address this.

    Hi,

Thanks alot for your help Marco. The frustration comes from lack of documentation. I will probably raise a support ticket for this.

    Hi,

I am experiencing the same issue. Did you find a solution?

Hi, no I never got this solved. Since this was for a testing environment, I did not raise a ticket to Microsoft.
