how to archive or delete Purchase Quote which are in pending approval status

Hi all,

I have a question regarding Purchase Quote. Client wants to delete or archive the Purchase Quotes which are already processed but are still in pending approval status. We tried to archive it but it does not work. Is there any other way of deleting this.

Hi, is it okay to cancel the Approval Request first and then delete it? If that doesn't work, you'll need the developer to make a small customization to change the Status first.

Than you for the responses. The issue is that we use power automate for the workflows. although we can cancel the flow from the backend but I want to know that since this PQ has already been processed, is it ok to delete it or once the status is set to open, we can archive it or make change the status to release and then archive it.

The status doesn't really matter. If in the Purchases & Payables Setup you have set the Purchase Quotes to archive always, then the system will automatically archive it when you delete it regardless of the status. In that case the system will archive it automatically when its deleted.
