How to handle open PO when doing an inventory closing, can they be moved to next period?

Hello

we need to do monthly inventory closing but AX doesn't allow if there are open POs in that current period ,

is there a routine that needs to be run to handle open Purchase Orders ?

maybe move them to the next month?

My first thought regarding this is that the "routine" would be to close the Purchase orders, i.e., target the open POs and receive them.

What do you AX does not allow open PO in inventory closing?

Inventory transactions would always happen and closing affects posted transactions only.

Getting a background of the business need and scenario would help to address better.
