'Compliance' consists of a number of different elements.
What is available in AX2012 can be found here:

The audit trial report is an important element of this compliance functionality.

Data base log, user permission and other user related reports also belong to this in my opinion.

Another powerful compliance functionality are workflows.
For them we have workflow history forms and reports that you can use.
