Delete/Hide a Employee record assigned with a position.

Hi, 

I have created a new record for Employee and assigned it an existing position. 

I am unable to delete the record now, I also tried terminating the employment and am getting this error message-

"Worker cannot be deleted while dependent Position worker assignments exist. Delete dependent Position worker assignments and try again."

I do not wish to see this record. It was creating for testing purpose.

Kindly suggest.

    Also, I cannot delete the position itself as it is being currently in use.

    and other employees have been assigned that position too.

    Hi Shrusti,

    Please delete the related record from the table "HcmPositionWorkerAssignment".

    Then you can delete this past worker.

    Hi Shrusti Talati,

    Open "as of date", and select "display all records", you can see the previous position assignment.

    There is no way to delete it from here, you need to delete the record from the database.

    Hi Shrusti,

    If this is in a production environment, keep in mind that testing should not be done in production. You can try the options provided by QianQW. Otherwise, it will be hidden anyway from the current workers form. The worker will be only visible on the past workers form when you perform the daily tasks.
