I need to update employee salary. The current process i am following is export the compensation file from data management, then upload the new/amended data to the system in two files.
The two files are followed,
File 1. Update the Expiration date, for those receiving amendments so that current rate becomes invalid – I will generate this based on 2nd file once you have sent me the updated version.
File 2. Replicate the lines above and update with the new Effective from date, new Pay rate and change Expiration date to 31.12.2154 to create the new record with the valid rate
But this is not the best option. So can you suggest the possibles ways to accomplish this ?
