Question regarding treeview page in AL

Maybe this is a stupid question but we are trying to develop a page with the Job Tasks as treeview on the left side and the assigned Job Planning Lines on the right side.

We tried everything but this does not seem to be possible in AL. Does anyone have an idea how this could be done?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

We currently do not have dedicated Dev support via the Dynamics 365 Business Central forums, but I wanted to provide you some additional resources to assist. If you need assistance with debugging or coding I would recommend discussing this on one of our communities.

    www.yammer.com/dynamicsnavdev

    dynamicsuser.net/.../developers

I will open this up to the community in case they have something to add.

    Thanks.

Can you share with us what is it that you expect to happen? Along with a snippet of the code you've written?

Hi, Sorry I don't have time to test, but I think you can refer to page 634 "Chart of Accounts Overview".

    Hope this will help.

Hi Zhu, thanks a lot for the hint.

We found this page but it's not exactly what we are looking for. The idea is to have such a treeview based on one table on the left side and on the right side a view of records from a second table related to the selected record from the first table. This is what we got so far:

The problem is that the two parts always have the same size, even if we disable the factbox or reduce the left section to one column, the left view keeps the same width and uses too much space. We couldn't find a way to build that. Do you have any other ideas?

Emmm, yes, we cannot modify this width. So what about changing left side and right side to up side and down side?

I mean is that the top shows Job Task and the bottom shows Job Planning Lines.

I think this is more suitable for BC's Platform

Hmm, yes that's what I thought. Ok, then we will do it that way.

    Thanks for your help!
