error on creating a new workflow

Hi

In workflows for nav 2017, I click on create a new workflow,  I select a event from the event List and I get the following error

saying Function name must have a value in workflow step

How should I solve this error. It does not allow me to select ant event function

    do you have function name field filled for the event which you selected?

    go to workflow event hierarchic , and check whither your event is enable to your operation
