Item engineering data fields are disabled even with power user role.

Hi All,

we need to give access to a user on Item engineering data window in manufacturing module.

he is able to open the Item engineering window,but unable to select Item status,Effective data where as every field is disabled for him except Item Number lookup.

I have given all the required access to the user,but still same issue persists,for checking purpose even i have given power user role also.

Still he is unable to edit data on item engineering window.

i tried with field security role set up also,nothing had change.

Do i need to check some where else?Please guide me if i missed out something.

It is an urgent access issue for the user.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes,we do have the licence for Manufacturing module.

we have figured it out in an alternative way ,by giving the permission to the user using Source code in dexterity.

Hi Mahathi,

Do you have the Manufacturing module licensed? If not, this is likely why the fields are not available.
